Cwtsh y Clos Nursery is a childcare centre in Llanarthney, Carmarthen. We welcome children between the ages of 6 weeks to 7 years into our care. The nursery is open Monday to Friday 7:30am until 6pm. For further information about Cwtsh y Clos go to ‘About us’.

I strongly recommend Cwtsh Y Clos who for several years have provided exceptional childcare for our son twice a week. We especially appreciate the special attention that is paid to his diet because he is a fussy eater, and in developing his language skills. The nursery occupies a rural setting with ample and very well equipped outdoor spaces and regular visits to enjoy nature and see farm animals. A school pick up and drop off service is available for children of that age.

Cwtsh Y Clos Nursery provides what feels like a second home for our daughter, the staff are like an extended family and are always so happy to see us in the morning. Our daughter thinks the world of all the staff having attended Cwtsh y Clos for the last 3 years.

Her Welsh language has improved tenfold and they have provided the foundation she needs when progressing to a Welsh medium Primary school. I’m sure the staff at Cwtsh Y Clos know how much they mean to her, but a huge thank you from me and my wife for everything you do for our daughter and will continue to do for our family for years to come. I can not fault Cwtsh y Clos nursery in any way. My child is happy going in and happy coming out. They have a beautiful setting and make the most of it with lots of outdoor learning which is one of my favourite aspects of the nursery. The staff are excellent and I feel informed of my child’s progress. They carry out a variety of activities and vary their themes regularly. I highly recommend this nursery.

Both of my children have attended Cwtsh y Clos since they were 8 months old. We have been so pleased to have such a wonderful nursery environment for our children. The staff are friendly, caring and enthusiastic. The nursery environment is a wonderful space for children to have fun and learn. The outside space is especially important and the children take extra joy from being close to the farm and the various animals nearby.

Cwtsh Y Clos is a brilliant nursery. This is my second child to attend the nursery and I would not send them anywhere else. The building is extremely well kept and the resources and the decor within are too a high quality.

The staff are all friendly and approachable. It’s exactly like a second home for my little one. He attends 5 days a week and I’ve never had any problem getting him into creche. He loves it there. The experiences the children receive both indoors and outdoors are of the highest standard. Whatever the weather they are out fully kitted in appropriate clothing experiencing nature at its best.

The farm location and tractors are also a big hit! They also provide fantastic indoor opportunities be it creative with paints etc, cooking, reading stories or singing! The children are looked after like the staff’s own children and the highlight for my little one is the homemade food on the premises! I would highly recommend the nursery as somewhere to send your child.
